MND:  Supporters of “Taiwan independence” separatist forces will get burned for playing with fire and taste the bitter fruit of their own doing

3月15日下午，國(guó)防部新聞局副局長(zhǎng)、國(guó)防部新聞發(fā)言人張曉剛大校就近期涉軍問題發(fā)布消息。

記者：據(jù)報(bào)道，美政府在2025財(cái)政年度預(yù)算案中首度單獨(dú)列出臺(tái)灣，授權(quán)用美庫(kù)存武器援助臺(tái)灣，協(xié)助臺(tái)強(qiáng)化所謂“嚇阻力”。美陸軍“綠色貝雷帽”特種部隊(duì)顧問已長(zhǎng)駐臺(tái)灣協(xié)助訓(xùn)練臺(tái)軍兩棲特戰(zhàn)部隊(duì)。請(qǐng)問發(fā)言人對(duì)此有何評(píng)論？

Question: According to reports, the US government broke out Taiwan for the first time in its Fiscal Year 2025 Budget, which authorized to tap US stockpiles to assist Taiwan in strengthening the so-called “deterrence”.  Advisors from the US Special Forces Green Berets have been sent to Taiwan for long-term stationing to train Taiwan’s amphibious special forces. What’s your comment on this?

張曉剛：臺(tái)灣是中國(guó)的臺(tái)灣，臺(tái)灣問題是中國(guó)核心利益中的核心，是中美關(guān)系第一條不可逾越的紅線。近段時(shí)間以來，美方以對(duì)臺(tái)軍售軍援、派員協(xié)助臺(tái)軍訓(xùn)練等方式虛化、掏空和歪曲一個(gè)中國(guó)原則，向“臺(tái)獨(dú)”分裂勢(shì)力釋放嚴(yán)重錯(cuò)誤信號(hào)，嚴(yán)重破壞臺(tái)海和平穩(wěn)定。

Zhang Xiaogang: Taiwan is China’s Taiwan. The Taiwan question is at the core of China’s core interests, and the first red line that must not be crossed in China-US relations. Recently, the US side obscured, distorted and hollowed out the one-China principle through military aid and arms sales to Taiwan, and sending personnel to assist Taiwan in training its troops. These moves sent a seriously wrong signal to the “Taiwan independence” separatist forces and severely undermined peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait.

“臺(tái)獨(dú)”與臺(tái)海和平穩(wěn)定水火不容。誰縱容支持“臺(tái)獨(dú)”必將引火燒身、自食苦果。我們敦促美方，立即停止與中國(guó)臺(tái)灣地區(qū)開展任何形式的官方往來和軍事聯(lián)系，停止武裝臺(tái)灣，采取實(shí)際舉措落實(shí)不支持“臺(tái)獨(dú)”的承諾。中國(guó)人民解放軍始終保持高度警惕，堅(jiān)定不移捍衛(wèi)國(guó)家主權(quán)和領(lǐng)土完整，堅(jiān)決粉碎“臺(tái)獨(dú)”分裂和外來干涉圖謀。

“Taiwan independence” and cross-Strait peace and stability are as incompatible as water and fire. Those who connive at and support “Taiwan independence” separatist forces will get burned for playing with fire and taste the bitter fruit of their own doing. We urge the US side to immediately end any form of official exchanges and military contact with Taiwan, stop arming Taiwan, and fulfill its commitment of not supporting “Taiwan independence” with concrete actions. The PLA will stay on high alert, firmly safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity and resolutely smash “Taiwan independence” separatist activities and external interfering attempts.
